BOX TOP EDUCATION
Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production, but may continue to be found on many products throughout stores.
Every valid Box Tops clip is worth 10 cent for the child’s school. Each box top must have a clearly visible product acronym and expiration date.
Please be informed that the Box Top program is moving toward an electronic option.
THE CARING PLACE
The goal of The Caring Place is to help those in the communities who struggle financially, emotional or spiritually to overcome temporary obstacles. It serves the communities of Golf Manor, Kennedy Heights, Pleasant Ridge, and Silverton.
Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00AM until 2:00PM
Donations needed:
Non-perishable food, household items, blankets, sheets, pillow cases, towels, dishes, glassware, cook utensils
Matthew 25 Ministries
The First Baptist Church of Oakley collects medicine bottles for Matthew 25 Ministries. They send the bottles to countries for bottling medication for people who come to their clinics so they have a safe way of distributing their pills to patients to take home.
Example relief effort they have served include devastating tornadoes, tropical storms, hurricanes and the Haiti humanitarian crisis.
